8 Key Steps To Creating Your Own Success Story On The Net

By Krystine Lewis

Are you searching for a product or service to sell on the net? Well, follow these easy steps below. You'll be surprised at how easy it will be to create your own success story. You may be the next Internet Guru in your own special field you've created for yourself.

1) Find something that drives you....Find your passion and then work in a product or service around that passion of yours. It's important to create your own niche market.

2) Stay focused and take action.

3) You must have your own domain name and your own website.

4) Write down specific goals that you want to attain about your product or service and then give it a time frame. Ex... "Write my first Ebook on XYZ and get it out to the public within 3 months."

5) It's not "ALL" about the money. If it were all about the money, then you would never make any. Right?

6) Offer FR~E advice, reports, tips on your website...Always!

7) Always try to help people...it will come back to you ten fold.

8) Have faith in yourself (and in God) that you can do anything you put your mind to and "do it" and the rest will just fall into place.

Google continues to gobble market share from Yahoo! and other search competitors, as OneStat found that more than half of global Internet users continue to rely on the dominant engine. The findings are similar in the U.S., with Hitwise placing Google at the top for search in April 2004, with Yahoo! as the number one portal. Google registered more than a 21 percent gain in market share from August 2003 to April 2004, while Yahoo!'s search engine lost nearly 1 full percentage point, and MSN's search function registered a nearly 9 percent decrease in market share during the same period.

E-commerce estimates are in for the first quarter of 2004, and the Census Bureau of the Department of Commerce found that online sales rang in $15.5 billion — representing a 28.1 percent increase over Q1 2003's $12.1 billion.

Self-serve television programming is poised for strong growth over the coming years, as The Yankee Group expects video on demand (VoD) deployments to reach 36.5 million households — or one-in-three U.S. homes — by the end of 2008. Roughly 11.4 million households were VoD-capable by the end of 2003, a 70 percent increase over 2002.
